My name is Vladimir, I am an anesthesiologist-resuscitator and I have dedicated my whole life to saving adults and children, but now my life needs to be saved. In 2021, when I was working as a doctor on covid, I was suddenly diagnosed with a terrible diagnosis - inoperable stage 4 cancer, from that moment my life has completely changed. I lost my job, I lost my ability to work and became disabled. I do not have my own home and savings, I live only on the support of caring kind people and their donations. For the fourth year I have been fighting stage 4 stomach and esophageal cancer. My treatment according to official protocols is now complete, I have undergone more than 60 chemotherapy treatments, the treatment stopped helping and the disease began to progress, so I have been in Tel Aviv Sourasky medical center since July 2024 to participate as a test subject in international clinical trials of a new drug for stage 4 cancer from a well-known French company (I am not only asking for help for myself, but I am also making a contribution to science, because with the help of my participation in these experiments, people who now have no chance of salvation will have a new treatment!) The drug itself is free within the framework of the trials, but I pay for everything else myself, because I am a foreigner and now my monthly expenses in Israel to continue cancer treatment are over 7,000 euros. This amount includes rent, regular travel to and from the hospital, special nutrition, supportive, restorative drugs for the body, organs and blood counts after numerous side effects of cancer treatment, medical travel agency services, round-trip air tickets, plus a list of necessary studies, tests, consultations with oncologists, which I am forced to do regularly. With my disability pension, I cannot cover these expenses even by 5%. Also, every foreigner participating in such clinical trials must make a security deposit of 25,000 euros to the hospital cash desk in case life-threatening side effects and complications occur during treatment and hospitalization, resuscitation procedures, etc. are required.
Every month I have to pay these bills from 7000 euros to be able to continue the cancer treatment. that's why in the fundraising campaign I indicated the necessary amount for the next 6 months (this does not include the amount of the hospital security deposit in case of emergency and life-threatening situation)
