This Boy is On Fire by Waylon Jernigan

My name is Zerrick and I started this gofundme to help raise money for Waylon Jernigan and his family. Waylon recently fought a heated battle with the family's burn pile while he was attempting to light the fire. Being the excited 14yr old that he is, Waylon used too much starting fluid and the fire basically erupted  around him in the form of an explosion. He has second and third degree burns on his arms and face and is currently on a ventilator for internal injuries. Waylon is currently lodged at the Norton ICU Burn Center in Louisville, Ky.  Waylon's mother and sisters could really use alittle help. Unexpected travel, lodging and food costs can take a harsh toll on a family especially in this Pandemic economy not to mention the medical bills that haven't started to pour in yet.  Waylon is a very hard working and thoughtful child who could use some help and support from his family, friends and community.  Thank you for your support. Update: From Amber: So Thought we would be going home tonight or in the morning.. the wound care specialist wants to keep Waylon for a few more days or until I can treat him without sedation. He’s eating everything in sight as always he’s a growing boy Good spirits for all! Again I greatly appreciate everything each one has done and or doing for him as well as the girls and I we are blessed!
