Thiresha Santhirasekaram & Family

This year for my birthday, I have organized a fundraiser to raise money for a family back home in Murikandy, Sri Lanka, who are facing significant financial challenges. This family has 2 daughter's in urgent need for heart surgeries. Specifically, Thiresha, their eldest daughter who has been recommended for an early surgery twice due to her deteriorating health.

The Senthil Kumar Relief Agency in Canada has taken on the responsibility of determining whether the surgeries can be successfully performed. In the meantime, I have decided to assist their family with livelihood support and medical expenses. Their father is hoping to start a business to generate income to support his family and help cover the medical expenses, surgery fees for his children & medical travel expenses for hospital check - ups. The funds raised will go towards both livelihood assistance and critical healthcare needs.
