Third Annual Color My Hair For Kids

It's time again for my annual fundraiser for Children's Haven of Joplin, MO! Children's Haven is an amazing organization that assists children and families in need for many different reasons. Taken from their website:
Children’s Haven has been providing safe, nurturing care since 2003 to area children, ages birth through seventeen, at no cost to families. Children’s Haven provides temporary shelter to area children in a safe, secure environment while their parents resolve a family crisis. We are unique – being the only shelter in our area where kids can stay without a parent while parents retain custody. A family crisis may include but is not limited to homelessness, parent or sibling hospitalization, fear of child abuse or neglect, lack of food or utilities, parents seeking mental health or substance abuse treatment, or incarceration of a parent.
Donations go to help with transportation to "home schools", doctor's appointments, educational support, meals and snacks for the children. Their mission statement is "Through the services we provide, we work to protect children, prevent child abuse and neglect, reduce family stress, and ultimately keep families together.
For the entire month of April, I will be collecting funds and then the first week of May I'll be giving Children's Haven a check for the full amount personally. Here is the fun part!
The way my fundraiser works is when you make a donation, put a color in the comment. All of the colors will be tallied up during the month to keep a running total. At the end of the month, the color that has the most donated to it will be what color I dye my hair! Extra goal: If the milestone of $500 is reached, my beard will also be included! Extra, Extra goal: If we can reach the goal of $1,000 a close friend of mine will also be getting his hair and beard colored for this cause!
Because i want to keep things interesting and not repeat colors, Purple and Orange (previous winners) are not eligible to win. If you want to pick those two, please ask for your second favorite color you'd like to see me in :)
Last note, I'm not working with or putting this on in any conjunction with Children's Haven. They know I do it and don't know the results until the day I show up and surprise them!
