Brittany (Repholz) Maschio is a 29 year old stay at home mother of 4 children ages 10 months to 8 years old who was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer. While this diagnosis is not something anyone wants to hear, we all know how strong Brittany is because this is not her first cancer battle. After graduating from Wildwood High in 2008, Brittany was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. She lost all of her hair, but never her sense of humor or fight to win the battle. While we know Brittany will win this battle, it is going to be a tough road. She will be getting a double mastectomy and then will continue with radiation and chemo all while trying to keep things normal for her babies.
Brittany grew up in Wildwood Crest where she attended Crest Memorial School then continued to Wildwood High School where she met the man she would marry. Jim stuck by Brittany through her battle with cancer and will be standing by her again. Jim took a job at Disney World 3 years ago. While they do have health insurance, it does not cover everything.
We are taking donations to help this amazing family get through this devastating time in the most non disruptive way possible. Trying to keep a sense of normalcy for the children is most important. Brittany and Jim will have multiple copayments weekly, that are not budgeted. Also, for those times she doesn’t feel up for cooking or needs to have others take care of her children because she is feeling ill.
Help Brittany and Jim and the whole Maschio family feel the love from their hometown.
