Our people work hard. They believe in our mission to help the most vulnerable in the coffee supply chain. They hope that it brings them good karma.
Unfortunately, it has become all too plain that the hospitality industry is being decimated by COVID-19. Tens of thousands have been left out of work with no notice and limited support. Think Coffee, we regret, is no exception. Like many other restaurants and cafes acting in the best interests of public health, we temporarily closed all of our cafes. As a small, local, independent business, we do not have the resources to keep paying our staff when we have no income.
To support our team where we can, we have set up an Employee Relief Fund that will directly benefit hourly employees impacted by the crisis, helping them pay for groceries and everyday essentials that they might not otherwise be able to afford right now.
Until we see your smiling and/or caffeine-starved faces again, any support you can give your barista would be greatly appreciated.
