Things went a bit awry
Donation protected
About a month ago while making a routine dash across town for some work supplies an inattentive drive sideswiped me on my motorcycle. I hit the pavement at a pretty high rate of speed and sustained serious injuries to my elbows, ribs, knees, ankle, pancreas, road rash everywhere, and my shoulder was shattered inside the socket. My right eyebrow now has a permanent dent in the bone.
After a few days in the hospital I came out with a lot of fingers to point but glad to be alive and sporting some very fashionable plates and screws holding my shoulder together and a long road of being bounced around doctors I'm still dealing with, and a rapidly mounting medical tab my insurance has exhausted and the driver at fault slipped quietly away in the aftermath.
This is to say nothing of my beloved motorcycle which needs unrecoverable repairs, towing costs, and my arm to function before I can ride it again. Jeez, my truck is a stick shift, and that's impossible to drive.
I've gotten pretty good at curating credit card balances and surviving on savings but that time is about to expire. I'm taking the jobs I can and mostly volunteering to keep myself active. I do not want charity, every donor will be redeemed with skills I can offer.
Many regards for your consideration.
