Hi friends! Thank you, first of all, for being here and helping any way you can! As many of you know, my divorce was initiated in April 2023 and won’t be finalized until May 2024. My current ex husband has not abided by the court order to pay maintenance and child support. He is currently over $6k behind. A lot of you know my daughter and I were left with nothing monetary and we live in an apartment I can’t afford alone right now. With that said, you also know I’m a veteran and I’ve applied to use the last of my Post 9/11 GI Bill. If I can enroll in time for March classes, the BAH from that will help quite a bit and will be ~$900/mo until I finish school online. I also work full time and two paychecks a month don’t even cover my rent. My January paystub was $2528 and my rent is $2571/mo. I am behind on everything but my car payment. If everything goes accordingly, my financial situation will be much better by April ‘24. If you donate and want proof of anything, I’m happy to send it via dm.
