Thin Raft - Growing Connections

I'm incredibly excited to share an inspiring new charity project exclusively launching at The Holmesdale School.

Thin Raft (www.thinraft.co.uk or follow on Instagram) is a Community Interest Company helping disadvantaged students build their skills and self-worth through the power of gardening.

We understand that traditional classroom settings don't engage every child. For some, connecting with education in a different environment is key to unlocking their potential.

This is more than just a garden; it's a life-changing opportunity for our students. Starting in September 2025, we will be setting up our very own garden at The Holmesdale School, where students will learn to cultivate vegetables, fruits, and flowers from seed to harvest.

As a charity project, we are entirely reliant on the generosity of our community to make this vision a reality. Your donation will directly contribute to purchasing essential tools, materials, and gardening supplies needed to establish and maintain this vital learning space.
