Thieves steal disabled mans livelihood
Donation protected
Mike was born with no legs but that hasn't stopped him from living life to the fullest, it's what makes this theft that much more henious. A few nights ago my neighbor woke up to find his Yukon as well as his car trailer and his 3 wheel motorcycle trike stolen that he had built for himself so he can enjoy something he loves. His tools were stolen as well as a very expensive wheelchair with hand controls. Why is this such a tragic thing to happen? Well, for one this is how Mike and his wife put food on the table and a roof over their heads for themselves and their two children. Mike is a mechanic and this puts a screeching halt to his ability to pick up cars and to work on them. I have been their neighbor for many years and I am always inspired by how hard Mike works regardless of his disability. He was born without legs but this hasn't stopped him one bit in regards to enjoying life and working hard for his family. To be quite frank, I have a hard time calling him disabled because he doesn't let not having legs get in his way in this life. But as you know, someone in his situation does need a special vehicle to accommodate his disability. Mike and his family have always gone out of their way to help myself and others expecting nothing in return. Well, I couldn't sit idle while evil thieves steal from this awesome family because they would give you the shirt off of their backs if you needed. Please share this if you feel led to and let's get this great family back on their feet. For one, this theft hurts more than just them because I myself have been blessed and helped by Mike when I broke down out of town. I didn't even have to ask, he climbed into this vehicle, hooked up the trailer, and came to help get myself and my daughter home, this is the kind of good-hearted family you are donating to. Mike did not ask me to do this, but I insisted.
