Hi everyone! My name is Thien, and I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve been accepted into Azusa Pacific University’s nursing study abroad program in Norway! I’ll be studying alongside Norwegian and international students near the VID University - Heraldspass Bergen campus. This experience will allow me to live and learn in a global community while studying crucial healthcare fields, including home healthcare, geriatrics, and mental health/substance abuse.

As part of the program, I’ll get to explore the local history and culture while gaining hands-on experience in community healthcare. I’ll work alongside other nursing students to assess and meet health needs in nursing homes, elderly homes, and community care settings, focusing on critical issues like home healthcare and homelessness. This program is an incredible opportunity to deepen my nursing skills and learn from an internationally renowned healthcare system.

However, a program like this comes with significant expenses, including travel, housing, tuition, and other costs associated with studying abroad.
