THIEF SUMMARY

Notorious for their choreographed theft techniques, thieves Leo and Mason thrive on selling stolen goods. However, when assigned to steal from the orphanage he once lived at, Mason questions his moral compass.

Thief encapsulates a story about a young 20 year old Mason who is tasked with figuring out his values and trying to set his life in the right direction. He’s been working with Leo for years, always scheming for their next heist in order to pay their rent.

Equipment Rental: We are looking at renting from external non-LMU rental houses for camera equipment including a RED Komodo Camera and dana dolly. We are also saving as much money as possible by renting as much as we can from LMU’s equipment. Your generous donations will help us get quality film equipment to best make Thief come alive.

Production Design: This is so crucial in order to make a film set look realistic and gorgeous! We have scenes in this film that take place at an orphanage and at Mason and Leo’s house, where they store all of their stolen items. Both of these locations require lots of production design in order to make this film look authentic.

Filming Permits: Your generous donations will help us permit the locations for this film to safely and legally carry out our production.

Film Festivals: Submitting to film festivals can get insanely expensive. Your donations would help us submit to more festivals in order to share this film with so many new people.

Crafty and Catering: It’s essential to feed the hardworking cast and crew who are devoting their time and energy to the production of this film.
