Hi, my name is Gabby, but this post isn't about me. I'm here to ask for help for my beautiful cousin Thiago. Thiago is 33 years old. He is married to a wonderful woman named Nathalia. They live in Teresópolis, Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and just welcomed their precious first born baby, Bella, on April 1st. At the height of their euphoria and excitement for all the future would bring, they would quickly find out how cruel the world can be. Thiago was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. He has undergone chemo and a transplant and was doing well. The world was gonna be ok after all, but unfortunately last month his cancer came back fast and doctors in Brazil have done all they can for him. This new family was advised to make their new father, loving husband, and just a good person comfortable until he would be taken from them. We refuse to let baby Bella say goodbye without giving it everything we've got. Thiago will fight to be in his daughter's and all our lives. We are currently researching alternative treatments for him and have found an angel on earth called Fernanda whom also has undergone several cancer treatments and turned to alternative treatment options. She was given 3 months to live by doctors in the best cancer hospital in the world but decided this was not her time to go and like Thiago has so much to live for and has been living for more than 4 years after her doctors said she only had 90 days. After meeting with her, our family felt hope for Thiago and this alternative treatment. The treatment is in a holistic facility in Florida and is costly. The old saying goes, it takes a village to raise a child. Well, we're hoping this village is big and strong enough. Please join our village and support this cause. Any amount would help. Thank you!
