"They Make Purple" A Student Short Film

Bffs April & Ivy are seperated by college and long distance. In that time apart April shares with Ivy how she feels about her but Ivy couldn't do the same. Until, they are now roommates, getting ready for girls night, and Ivy must get over the fear of her feelings, or risk losing the girl she loves.

Hello and thank you for your interest in supporting my thesis student short film! My name is Brianna Suarez-Thomas and I am a senior film production major at Brooklyn College. All of my education has developed my creativity and confidence as a writer and director who loves to tell stories about the human experience. I believe "They Make Purple" can inspire others to avoid letting their fear of expression limit them from grasping an opportunity. Whether it means finding your true love or going after your aspirations. Also my wish for this film is that it builds representation for the LGBTQ+ and POC communities.
