Last week on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025, tragedy struck one of our beloved school families when their home was completely destroyed by a fire. In an instant, the Garcia family—mom, dad, their 20-year-old daughter, and their son, a junior at our school—lost everything. Clothes, furniture, keepsakes, and the daily essentials that make up a home are all gone.

While we are grateful that everyone is safe, the family is now faced with the overwhelming challenge of starting over from scratch. Our school community is rallying to support them in this moment of need.

This fundraiser will help cover immediate essentials like clothing, food, and temporary housing, and provide stability as they work to rebuild their lives. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference for Josue and his family.
