The Tribe of Eos is attending Tribal Fest 2015!
The Tribe of Eos is the belly dance troupe of Eos Whole Fitness and Bellidance, Youngstown’s Premier Dance and Yoga Studio located in Youngstown, Ohio in the Calvin Center for the Arts. Current members include Jennifer Neal, Tribe Leader, and dancers Samantha Grbinick, Crystal Beiersdorfer, and Tiffany Kostan.
Beginning May 12th and running through May 17th, The Tribe of Eos will be attending Tribal Fest 15 in Sebastopol, California. This is the first and largest event of its kind. Belly dancers from around the globe attend to teach, learn, share and perform. This is a week-long event offers the opportunity to learn from the best dancers in the belly dancing community.
Tribal Fest 15 is an opportunity for the Tribe of Eos to learn and collaborate with the best dancers from all over the world. The Tribe of Eos has the ability to learn from the best and bring the things we learn back in to the community.
The Tribe of Eos has performed at many events in the Youngstown area for various charity benefits, such as The Good Life Fest for Silver Lining Cancer Fund, The Big Tap In for Making Kids Count, and The Purple Cat Carnival for the Purple Cat Non-profit organization benefiting adults with disabilities. The Tribe of Eos has also performed for fundraising events such Beyond the Cage Benefit for the Friends of Fido: Mahoning County Dog Pound, the Typhoon Haiyan Benefit for the Red Cross of the Phillipines to help victims of the devastating effects of the natural disaster there, as well as the Jam to Slam MS benefiting the National MS Society, Western PA chapter, the Love and Music Cancer Benefit for Michele Cassile-Arroyo, a local Youngstownian battling cancer.
Getting The Tribe of Eos to Tribal Fest 15 is a great opportunity to sharpen our skills and hone new techniques and styles of dance to bring back to Youngstown.
