When the prestigious LINES Ballet Training Program goes on hiatus in June 2025, it will leave a critical void in the San Francisco Bay Area and global dance education landscape. For years, this world-renowned program has shaped exceptional dancers, choreographers, and industry leaders - but now, the excellent dance training it has provided risks fading.
We refuse to let that happen.
the training ground sf (ttgsf) will step in to continue the foundation that has helped shaped today's finest dancers, choreographers and educators by upholding the highest standards in dance education. Led by Karah Abiog (LINES' Program Director for 15 years), alongside an esteemed faculty - Maurya Kerr, Sandra Chinn, Brett Conway, Babatunji Johnson, Chuck Wilt, and guest artists Sidra Bell, Rena Butler & Alejandro Perez to name a few - ttgsf will provide thought-provoking and progressive year-round dance training for aspiring dancers ages 18-25.

A philosophy centered on curiosity, exploration, and transformation, preparing dancers for professional careers. An emphasis on professional development, mentorships, and career placement.

- Immediate Demand - Many 1st year LINES Training Program students are already committed to enrolling. No comparable programs exist in the San Francisco Bay Area.
