My dad the late Mayor Rudy Clay, started giving toys away to children in need almost two decades ago in 2000. He named the giveaway "Toys for Kids Santa Forgot but God Remembered." The event is always held on the Saturday after Christmas.
We are a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Charity where your contribution is tax deductible. This annual event helps thousands of children receive toys on the Saturday after Christmas. We are asking for your help to bless less fortunate children and put smiles in their hearts, it's their season.
The 20th Year Annivesary "Toys for Kids Santa Forgot But God Remembered" event will be held at a large venue to be announced in Gary, Indiana in December 2021.
We need your help so we can continue purchasing the toys, gifts and bikes. It means so much to the kids and their families who are less fortunate.
Your donation will always be used for toys only. We are all volunteers. The deadline is approaching for the great amount of toys to purchase, so please donate now whatever you can, no amount is to small or big. You can also donate by sending a check or money order to: Toys For Kids Santa Forgot, Inc., P.O. Box 4400, Gary, IN 46404.
