Thessaloniki Medical Fellowship
Hello! I am honored to have been chosen to participate in an incredible international opportunity! From May 11, 2019, to May 31, 2019, I will be traveling to Thessaloniki, Greece for a medical fellowship. The program is run by a well-renowned company called "Atlantis" who has sent over 150,000 Pre-Med students to partnered hospitals all around the globe.
As a part of the program, I will gain shadowing experience with healthcare workers in a variety of hospital departments earning 60+ hours of experience in just 3 weeks! As you may know, getting serious shadowing experience in the States is both extremely competitive and rigorously regulated. Yet, pre-med students are all but required to have shadowing experiences, along with unique extracurricular pursuits, to get accepted into medical school. An Atlantis Fellowship satisfies both needs!
As a pre-med student studying neuroscience at Wright State University and preparing for a future career in the medical field, this opportunity is all that I could have ever asked for and more! My passion lies in neurology and I am hoping to attend medical school to become a pediatric neurologist, however, I am very excited to explore other fields as I continue my education and let my passion grow.
The total cost for the trip is $3,999 not including flight expenses, some meals, and some excursions. I have estimated my total costs to establish my goal of $6,500.
Support of any kind and any amount is appreciated, whether that be financial, through prayer, or both! I am more than willing to speak in person or on the phone to answer any questions about Atlantis, what I will be doing, or what the money is going towards!
Thank you for investing in my future!
