Help The Spirit Calls Make a Comeback!

About The Spirit Calls: The Spirit Calls is a radio ministry started by longtime friends Mike Biasin and Charlene (Filley Staples in February 2010. With the mentorship of radio station managers Ron & Sharon Malone, The Spirit Calls shared the Good News of Jesus Christ to listeners in Maine and New Hampshire for nine years. In June 2019, the program had to sign off to make room for another effort. Shortly after that, Mike moved to West Newfield Maine, and he didn't get to see Charlene again for a long time.

The Comeback Begins! Over the three years of not being able to be in regular contact, Mike had a longing to reconnect with Charlene as they've had a kindred spirit friendship for almost 20 years. On September 30th, Mike, his girlfriend Laurie, and Charlene reunited. While visiting, the trio prayed over the face book page and sensed a faith rising in their souls that this ministry of hope, encouragement, and joy was about to come back. A word of the Lord about God bringing restoration of dreams, visions, and ministries to his people also came forth. Contact was made with the stations; they liked the concept and asked for a demo of the new effort.

The Bible tells us that when we begin an effort, it is important to count the cost to make sure we have sufficient to finish. The stations we are heard on are nonprofits. We are not being paid to do this but must donate and partner with our stations financially. The financial support we are asking for will help us support our stations for the year, maintain our website, and cover any other unforeseen needs.

We are not a 501C3. We have no sponsoring organization as we did during the first nine years. Your donation will not be tax-deductible. However, if you will bless this effort as God leads you, He will bless you. As I update this page, we have had some monthly donors come forward, and we appreciate their support.
