ABOUT THESPIHONEST

Fueled by their passion for Shakespeare and their mutual goal to expose young people to his works, Lily Blaisdell Hamilton along with Sanna Legan founded Thespihonest Theatre Company in 2016. Thespihonest's mission is to start a discussion on social, political, and environmental issues through the medium of theatre.

They began their journey with a four-person, all-female production of Romeo & Juliet, devised and directed by the ensemble. This was quickly followed by a gender-bent production of The Taming of the Shrew, directed by Hamilton. For their next production, Thespihonest takes on its darkest affair yet: Shakespeare's Macbeth.

Join us as the anguish of femininity, gender dysphoria, and hatred unfolds in an ancient patriarchy. Thespihonest is proud to present the blood-soaked, queer, magical, frenzy that is Macbeth.

Macbeth will be performed at the historic Hudson Backstage Theatre in Hollywood every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from October 7 - October 30.
