Dear friends and family of The Skinny Bar, It is with heavy hearts that we must announce The Skinny Bar will be closing indefinitely because of the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Although we are continuing to monitor this situation and are in support of social distancing, it has left our employees out of work and with an uncertain economic future. Our staff has helped provide many of the moments we hope you look back on fondly and have contributed to the character of New York’s iconic Lower East Side for the past 16 years. We’ve made it through challenging times thanks to the community we’ve built with our customers, many of whom we call our friends and family. We are heartbroken to ask for help from those who have already been so supportive, but we need you now more than ever.
