I pray that this letter finds you and your family doing well. God has currently planted my family as missionary workers at Hartland Institute of Health and Education. My family is also one of the staff sponsors of an organized YDYD (Youth, Do You Dare?) ministry that goes out to the surrounding churches in our area.
What a privilege and joy it is to be working with YDYD, which composed of college students who are serious about devoting their lives to God’s service and working in the frontline for Christ. We go out to the churches to preach Jesus, present Health Expos, train the youth to share, present musical concert, try to answer questions regarding the calling that Christ makes upon the life of young people and the simple means of knowing how to follow in the ways of the Lord.
I want to share with you a challenging ministry opportunity that God has presented to my family. We decided to go to an upcoming 10-day YDYD mission trip to Puerto Rico on March 10-20, 2017. We will be ministering to the children and youth through an organized work of preaching, canvassing and health presentations. By God’s grace we will bring many closer to Christ by ministering to their needs and reflecting Christ.
I would love for you to be a part of my support team. First, you can help support our team in prayer as we prepare for our trip, our travel, and safety in our work and that our ministry will be productive.
Secondly you can get involved is to help provide financial support. Our group comprises ten missionaries. We need to raise $400 each. The total for my family of four (Ferdi, Karina, Daniella and Diego) is $1600.
