The  Road to Québec!

Dear Family and Friends,

I am proud to announce the South Shore Kings Elite 2004 Team has qualified and been invited to compete in this year’s 58th annual prestigious Québec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament, February 8 – February 19, 2017.

The Québec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament, often referred to as “The Q” or “The Pee-Wee World Championships” is the hockey equivalent to the Little League World Series.  Founded in 1960, The Q is the oldest and most prestigious youth hockey tournament in the world.  Annually attended by more than 2,250 competitors from 16 different countries, the tournament features the best and talented 12-year-old hockey players from around the world.  More than 1400 NHL players have played in the historic Q over the years, including such greats as  Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux.

In order to qualify our team had to be one of the top two teams in their very competitive division. While qualifying for The Q is a huge accomplishment, it is also a very expensive endeavor as the team and their families will stay in Quebec over the course of the tournament’s eleven days.

We are asking for your support to help the team defray the significant costs associated with this exciting and hard earned opportunity. We appreciate
any contribution you can make towards the team's trip and success!
