Run for a cure
My name is Matthew Letkeman. I am a 21 year old goofball From Saskatchewan Canada, with a dream of making a difference for those young people who are dealing with life changing illnesses.
When I was in grade 9 my best friend was diagnosed with Non- Hodgkin’s lymphoma. This wrecked me, rocked my world and changed my life forever. Seeing his bravery, strength, and perseverance inspired the heck out of me and made me want to make a difference. Although the two years he battled were long, and filled with extremely tough moments. I learned so much about life and how to be grateful for the things we have. Thankfully, he’s healthy now and cancer free. And ever since that experience, I’ve been itching to make a difference!
Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Jim Pattison Children's Hospital Foundation. Im going to be running every day from now (September 14th) until I reach 300km. It won’t be easy since I live in sask and winter is unfortunately coming... real soon! But I’m going to give it my all! If you want to donate that would be stellar!
