Theresa is a hardworking mama, with a farm in Moody Texas. On top of helping on the farm, she also works for Hospice, helping people all over the rural areas of central Texas with their end of life care. But now Theresa needs some help.

After a battle with breast cancer less than two years ago, Theresa Barker has now been diagnosed with lymphoma in October of 2024. She has had PET scans, biopsies, and many other procedures, very quickly reaching her deductible and out of pocket copay, only to have to start over again on January 1st. So far this year she has had surgeries and more procedures, as well as starting her journey with chemotherapy. The uncovered expenses, deductibles, and copays, accrued in the last few months time total $22,000.

Theresa has worked hard her entire life. While she would love to keep working at the pace she always has, her current health and treatment will require her to take a step back. Between the loss of income and the travel back and forth for her treatments, on top of her medical bills, Theresa needs some help. We know the community she has poured so much love and care into wants to help.
