Theresa's Autoimmune Disease Fund
Theresa is currently fighting with autoimmune disease, as a result, she developed Raynaud’s Syndrome, which causes her fingers to turn black in the cold because it restricts the blood flow in the extremities. Sjogren’s Disease, which caused her to lose teeth, and seven years ago she developed lupus, a chronic inflammatory disease that causes her joints to flare up. In early 2016 she was diagnosed with another disease called dermatomyositis, which weakens her muscles. The Current cost of the medication she requires (Rituxan) is $10,000 every 6 months, and she needs as much help as possible.
