Theresa Wright's Homegoing Services

It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the passing of our beloved Mother and Grandmother, Theresa Wright. Yesterday, 1/29/2023 mom received her heavenly wings after a lengthy battle with cancer. Words cannot describe the way we as her children feel right now. Mom was our guiding light and she left this earth way too soon.
On January 1, 2022, mom went into the hospital and they found that she had nodules in her uterus, a spot on her lungs and a stomach tumor. After a series of scans, tests and blood work, the doctors diagnosed mom with Stage IV lung cancer, a stomach cancerous gist and endometrial cancer.
While battling through chemotherapy, multiple surgeries and continued discomfort, she never ceased to show unconditional love to all of those around her. She stood on her faith the entire way through.
With her passing, she leaves behind 4 children and 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. We are asking for your financial support to help us transport her from Atlanta, GA back to Fairfax, VA so that we can lay her to rest next to our younger sister. Your support will also help us to cover her homegoing services.
As a family, we appreciate your assistance and your support. We leave you with one of mom's favorite scriptures, Psalm 23: The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want...
