There's always hope beyond what you see

Hi, my name is Miles. I am 16 years of age. My brother was taken to hospital on 12/07/21 after showing concerning signs and symptoms earlier that morning. My mother and I were busy during the afternoon but the phone was ringing. I picked up the phone because she was driving. It was moments later that we received some horrific news that was going to change our lives forever… My big brother had been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia. I could not even begin to fathom the news because I didn’t even know what any of those words meant. Little did I know that AML was a dangerous, fast-approaching blood disease that posed a serious threat on my brother’s life and it needed to be addressed and dealt with immediately. He battled through a horrific journey of pain and suffering nevertheless he beat the disease and is a living legend !!

This fundraiser is a vehicle to portray my gratitude to the NHS for taking care of Christian and supporting my family until he stepped out of that hospital. May this aid be used to replicate the same as what they did for my family.
