A&B's Wedding/Honeymoon Crowdfund

Hello!

First and foremost, thank you!

Whether you ended up here on purpose or on accident, we appreciate the fact that you're here!

So here's the scoop:

My name is Andrew and my fiance's name is Brittany.

We are having our dream wedding at the Sacramento Zoo in April 2016.  Why  the crowd fund? Well the venue only cost us $2400, but because everything has to be brought in for the event the damage is encroaching $30,000 with a third of that being the cost of feeding and seating our friends and family. Yikes. While I'll be the first to say it's not the most intelligent fiscal decision we've made so far, it's a sacrifice we decided to make. And truthfully, Brittany is paying it all out of pocket. 

We have 2 indoor-homeless-people (kids), and a fully furnished home. All of the "ninja blenders" and amazing toasting machines will honestly probably just end up in the garage, so we are asking all our friends and family NOT to get us any gifts.

We know it's a little unorthodox, but because we won't be signing up for any registries and don't need more stuff, we thought this would be better. In truth, without having any help for the wedding, it's become a financially overwhelming endeavor. 

And this way nobody has to worry about whether or not we already have something or if someone else got us the same thing.

If we raise enough to have the wedding we're hoping for, then it will be a dream come true! If not, then anything we're able to crowdfund will at least be a huge relief in terms of finances.

The page says our goal is $15,000. Honestly that's just a number that ended up in that space.

Whatever we can end up raising to help with the expenses will be more than appreciated!
