We are two filmmakers in southern Alberta who above all else want to build the local filmmaking scene, while putting our beautiful and flawed province on display.

There Are No Squirrels In Lethbridge is a Neo-Noir, Crime-Comedy that takes place in the quaint streets of 1990s Lethbridge, Alberta. Jack Dawson, P.I. was about to leave the city for good before he suddenly finds himself knee-deep in a kidnapping case. A case that brings up the past he's been trying to forget.

We've gathered an amazing team of local actors and crew, as well as support from Telus Storyhive to help begin the journey of bringing There Are No Squirrels In Lethbridge to life, but we need your help in order to give this production authenticity, as well as the production value it deserves.

Although TANSIL is a fictional narrative, it reflects Lethbridge/Alberta's culture and history through showcasing iconic prairie architecture and landscapes, as well as using familiar characters to tell locally reflective stories. Our goal is to help the world see that Alberta has great artists, not just great landscapes.

All funds raised will go directly to the production. Props, costumes, rentals, locations, etc. Our initial grant is primarily covering insurance and fair-wages for crew, therefore we still need to raise funds for everything listed above.
