In partnership with SafeSpace Group of companies, the Tanzania Feminist Collective is aiming to fundraise for Tanzanian survivors and victims of sexual assault.
We hope you can be a part of propelling us to reach our goal, as well as helping to provide these women and girls with the care they need.
WHO IS TANZANIA FEMINIST COLLECTIVE?
The Tanzania Feminist Collective is a group of women and non-binary people who aim to provide education on women's rights, misogyny, rape culture, and the nuances surrounding bigotry in Tanzania in order to stimulate change.
WHO IS SAFE SPACE?
Safe Space consists of a group of licensed psychologists who work to normalise the accessibility of mental health care to victims and survivors of sexual assault, all across Tanzania and Africa as a whole.
HOW YOUR DONATIONS WILL HELP:

There are eight (8) femmes in total seeking access to mental health care.
- Three (3) of them would prefer one-to-one sessions with Safe Space Co. At the discounted rate of 100,000 tsh per session offered by Safe Space, this will cost 2,400,000 tsh for 8 sessions for three of the survivors.
- Three (3) of the survivors would prefer group therapy sessions, which are priced at 360,000 tsh per 8 sessions. This will cost 1,080,000 tsh in total for three survivors.
- We would also like to hold two (2) retainers, one for group therapy for one person (totals to 360,000 tsh) and one for one-to-one therapy (totals to 800,000 tsh)
- The total amount needed in that case, is 4,640,000 tsh, which is 2,000 in USD and 1,510 in GBP
