Therapy for H
Donation protected
H is an autistic non-binary person and abuse survivor living with Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD), several chronic pain conditions, and an eating disorder. They are unable to claim Universal Credit. H has attempted to engage with NHS mental health treatments over the past 13 years but these were not a good fit, and they continue to struggle with their wellbeing daily.
They hope to pursue therapy with a queer-friendly therapist who acknowledges C-PTSD as a condition, understands the impacts of trauma on the body, and takes a more holistic, long-term approach. Unfortunately these opportunities are not available via the NHS and so they are asking for donations to seek private treatment as part of their healing process. The aim is to raise £3000, to fund a year of weekly therapy sessions for H. Any and all donations are very appreciated.
