Therapy dog for students

Hi my name is Carl and I am a school counselor. I work with students who have a variety of different backgrounds including students who have experienced trauma. I have researched the benefits of therapy dogs in schools and I am passionate about giving that experience to my students. The funds from this would go toward the adoption of a dog, the training required for the dog to be a certified therapy dog, medical expenses including vaccinations and preventative care, and monthly grooming costs. I would be the owner of the dog and therefore I would be responsible for all funding. This fundraiser would help minimize my out of pocket expense and make it possible to provide this for my students. Any help is appreciated!

$250-$500 Dog adoption 

$330- for K9 good citizen training 

$300-$500 insurance for the year

$1200- grooming each month for a year. It is a requirement for therapy dog certification 

$360- $30 each month for a year for food

$600- $50 each month for a year for flea, tick, and heart worms medications

$100-$200- kennel 

$200- vet visits 

$110- leash, harness, and 2 dog beds( one for office, one for house)
