The PA Community Center

Hello, my name is Mitchell Chance and I am from Philadelphia. I am the the founder of the Public Anouncement. (PA) Over the past 6 years we have been tirelessly working in our communities to bring much needed resources to create change. The problem we always run into is we’re always relegated to one day a week at someone else’s space. This proves to be counterproductive because every time we meet with youth and/or adults, we are always up against the other 6 days of them encountering non productive circumstances and ideas. So we’re looking to attain our own building that can be open 7 days of week as a daily beacon of light in our community. 

The building is going to be used for:
-Before & After school program. 
-Mentor program. 
-Educational lectures and workshops. 
-A safe haven for youth to keep them out of the streets. 
- A place to connect like minded people in order to recreate and sustain our community. 

The money we are raising is going to be used solely to purchase and renovate a building. No monies withdrawn are going to any members for their work as everyone is a volunteer. So please help us help others.
