Hi everyone, I'm reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your help. My dog, Theodore “Theo” was born disabled and needs urgent surgery. The procedure is costly, and while I'm doing everything I can to cover the expenses, I can’t do it alone. Theo is more than just a dog he's apart of the family, and he's brought so much joy, love, and comfort into my life. I have nursed him since he was a baby when his mom turned him away I took on taking care of him Theo is very special to me I wish I could’ve gotten him surgery sooner but I never wanted to ask for help, but Theo desperately needs your help!
Hello guys, my name is Theo. I’m a chocolate lab mix, I was born with spina bifida which also caused me to get something called paraphimosis. I’m still able to walk I walk with a limp because I use mainly 3 legs and sometimes my back legs completely give out on me I can still run I’m just not as fast as the others. Sometimes I pee/poop on myself because it hurts to hunch my back or my back legs give out sometimes I fall trying to jump on the couch. I have my limitations and my mom is seeing me deteriorate.
My mommy has made me as comfortable as I can be living with this condition but what I need is surgery and because of the extent and damages of waiting i now need two surgeries. The first surgery would be to remove a few cysts I have on multiple vertebrae’s (if not corrected he will need either a back brace or hind legs wheelchair) which he may still need) this is connected to my spina bifida and then I need a preputial advancement surgery to enlarge the foreskin so my weenie stays in guys (which if that doesn’t correct my issue the next surgery would be a penis amputation) I am almost a year old, I am very young I am too young to be in this pain. Please help me get my surgery because if I don’t get my surgery, I might not have much longer to live.
Our dog has been diagnosed with two serious medical conditions: paraphimosis and spina bifida. Paraphimosis is a condition where the penis becomes trapped outside the sheath and can’t retract, which can lead to severe pain, tissue damage, and even permanent injury if not treated quickly. In our dog’s case, surgery is needed to relieve the swelling, repair any damaged tissue, and reconstruct the sheath to prevent future issues. On top of that, he was born with spina bifida, a congenital defect where the spine doesn’t form properly. This affects his mobility, bladder, and bowel control, and requires surgical correction to stabilize the spine and reduce neurological complications. These procedures are critical to giving him a chance at a pain-free, functional life and I’m doing everything i can to make that happen any donation is greatly appreciated!
imaging his two surgeries, hospital, care, anesthesia, and aftercare is $6k+ of course I am still going to do my part. I would love for all of y’all to be a part of Theo‘s journey. All proceeds go directly to Theo and his care!
