Where to start. Our beloved Theo: a son, grandson, big brother, nephew, and jovial 4 1/2 year old boy; was recently diagnosed with T-cell Lymphoma, a type of Leukemia. The exact details of this cancer are unknown to me, but I do know that Ari (my brother and Theo's dad), Anne (my sister-in-law and Theo's mom), and the rest of my family have a long and challenging road ahead. 

Currently, there is a large mass in his chest pressing on his heart and lungs. Shrinking this tumor by at least 50% is priority number one. Once the mass has reduced in size, the doctors can proceed with other treatment options to beat this cancer.  Ari and Anne are insured, but what exactly the insurance will cover is unknown. There will be copays, Chemo visits, and any number of costs that are likely to be big. Any money donated that goes beyond what they actually need will be given to the caregivers and/or the Lymphoma Society. I repeat, 100% of the donations that go beyond what they need to cover Theo's cancer will be donated to the heros and to others in need.

Theo is a lively and inquisitive (and very, very intelligent) 4 1/2 year old kid. The doctors are positive we can win. This kid is quite resilient. The love and support from our friends and family across the country has truly been amazing; we all feel the love and positive energy being sent. However, many of you have asked what else you can do. This is it; because any money Ari and Anne don't use will still help those inflicted by this cancer. Thank you so much. And so much love.
