Theo's half marathon, in memory of my Grandad

On July 1st myself and a few of my close friends are running the Black Country half marathon. I have decided to run in memory of my Grandad after he passed away in October 2022 from a cardiac arrest. My Grandad was a fit and healthy man who always loved to be out and about in the fresh air walking or biking along the canals, which makes this a fitting race for me to run my first half marathon. He was not only my Grandad but my best friend and always bought a smile to peoples faces, he was a well known and loved character! After a challenging few months running has helped me through some of the toughest times I never expected. I am determined to finish this race and hope to raise money for other people and families who are also affected by the loss of a loved one.

Thank you in advance for any support or donations and hope to see some of you at the finishing line for a drink or two!

I'm raising money in aid of British Heart Foundation and every donation will help. Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me.
