Theo's fight aganist Leukemia

Donation protected
Hi friends! My name is Amanda, I'm the proud Aunt of sweet little Theo Cable.

Here is a short paragraph from Theo's parents describing his diagnosis.

"Anyone that has ever met Theo would describe him as easygoing, positive, joyful. He’s a true ray of sunshine, so when we first started to notice signs (both physical and demeanor) that just weren’t “Theo”, our parental instincts told us to bring him into the doctor to further investigate. What we assumed might be just a check-in at the doctors office on the morning of Tuesday, February 7th, turned into an immediate transfer to Children’s Hospital in MN for additional testing. Words like hemoglobin, platelets and white blood cells foreshadowed a more serious issue, but it wasn’t until later that evening when we finally heard the words “Theo has leukemia”. While this diagnosis has devastated us, we know Theo is a fighter.

With the diagnosis definitive, our medical team was quick to put a plan in place. Theo started treatments for Leukemia on Thursday, February 9th, which included a procedure to get a port put into his chest allowing medication to be administered seamlessly. Today marks the 3rd day of treatment. On day 1 Theo had 60% cancer in his blood and after just one day, his cancer in his blood is at 35%! We will need at least 3 spinal taps that have no traces of Leukemia before we can have talks of going home, so we're here at the hospital for the next 2-4 weeks. His first spinal tap was on day 1 and showed a barely traceable amount of Leukemia, so we are hopeful that here on out with the chemo, there will be none!"

Justin & Jenny are two of the most selfless people I know, and I know that they won't ask for funds themselves, so that's where I come in! As most of you know, they welcomed a new little girl into the world a little over a month ago, with new babies comes alot of new financial stressors, so imagine the amount of stress they are under with Theo's new diagnosis on top of a newborn baby. Justin has already taken multiple days off of work, to ensure that Theo always has someone in the hospital with him. There will be more days off in his future, with the unknowns of when Theo will be discharged.

I am asking for your help in raising money for this sweet family. Your donations will go towards helping keep this family afloat while they tread these rough waters.

We want to thank everyone who has donated, sent food, flowers, cards, and has reached out during this difficult time. Theo is such a brave young man, who has a lot of fight in him and we are hopeful that he will beat cancers butt!!
