Support Theo’s(29) family after his sudden passing
Donation protected
Theophilus Nweamiah (29 years old), husband and father of 2 young boys, suffered a fatal motorcycle accident on May 26, 2021. He was en route to a neighboring town in low-visibility fog before dawn when an unmarked broken down utility vehicle barred his path. As a father of 2 and the husband of a teacher, Theo’s legacy will live on forever in the small town of Essiama, Ghana (Western Region).
Sadly, his wife and children are now left with minimal to no income. Her job as a school teacher rarely pays as expected and when it does, her income of 200GHC (~$34 USD) per month is not enough to support two small children.
Theo’s family is in immediate need of support for funeral costs (casket, banners, and other typical needs) and other living expenses. Theo, myself, and a few others were planning on opening the first IT educational center in Essiama in June with the vision of creating and bringing more jobs to Ghana. Theo was set to be the technical manager and this would have been his first secure job that would have allowed him to sustain his family on a livable level. This was a huge opportunity for everyone involved and our hearts are beyond broken.
Now with an entire family in dire need, any amount of support will help immensely. Just 1 USD currently converts to 5.8 GHC (the USD has power to go a long way in Ghana, especially for a cause like this). Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, children, and family.
If you’d like to donate via Venmo (meaning that 100% of proceeds will go directly to his family), send funds to @Drew-Bayles.
Rest In Peace, Theo ❤️
