After Theo was born, I was trying to work part-time. Now, I’m staying at the hospital in the Ronald Mcdonald House to be close to Theo, and we will be scarce on income. We get enough from Toby’s military disability pay for our mortgage, electricity, water, phones…but we have other bills & living expenses that we’ve been having to put on credit cards the past couple of months. Gas, groceries, vehicle notes. I keep wrestling with myself if I should just go back to work, but I know the mental toll that would place on me to not have ability to be there for Theo whenever he needs me. I’m usually not one to ask for help…
