We come to you today with heavy hearts, but also with hope and determination. Our Longo’s MLS family recently received some devastating news—our beloved team member, Theodora, has been diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer. At just 32 years old, Theodora’s life has taken an unexpected and difficult turn, but we are standing by her side to help her through this battle.

Theodora, originally from Nigeria, came to Canada to pursue her education and dreams. Longo’s was her first full-time job, where she quickly found her place as an exceptional Cake Decorator. Her passion for baking began back home, and she’s carried that love into everything she creates. Her cakes aren’t just desserts—they’re art, made with heart and creativity that always brings a smile to our guests.

But Theodora is more than her talent. She’s our sunshine. Her warm and kind-hearted spirit fills the room wherever she goes. She’s great with guests, always offering a welcoming smile and genuine care. The team adores her not just for her work, but for the way she lifts everyone around her.

Unfortunately, Theodora is facing this difficult journey without her family by her side, as they are back home in Nigeria. She’s currently staying with a friend, but she doesn’t have anyone available to take her to her treatments or provide the day-to-day support she needs during this challenging time. This makes our support even more crucial.
