BE THEO TOUGH - Garcia Burks Family

This is Greg and Pam Garcia and Chris and Paula Burks. Our daughter Tobi and her husband Breyden are expecting twins. Little boy Theodore and little girl Lennon. Theodore was diagnosed with a rare heart condition called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, (HLHS.) Because of the delicate heart surgery Theodore will need immediately after birth they have to travel to Houston, TX and deliver the babies there at the Children's Hospital. They will be leaving beginning of April and will be there sometime until end of June. Her due date is May 20th and after Theodore's surgery, they will need to stay another 6 weeks or so to make sure he is strong enough to come home. At 6 months, Theodore will have another surgery and again at 3-4 years old. He will have a lifetime of cardio doctors to help him thrive.

They have applied at the RM House, but it is full right now at the times they would need it. They are going to need support in many ways and we plan to give them as much as we can and are asking friends and family to help support in any way. Breyden and Tobi are not aware we have created this page because they do not want to be a burden to family or friends. Please be mindful who you share this with. We understand this is asking a lot with the way the world is now, and if you can't give, please know we understand but ask you ALL to keep the Burks and Garcia families in your prayers.....they have a very long road to travel!
