Hi everyone,

After literally almost three years of fighting with the medical system I’m close to getting a date for my top surgery! While most of the procedure will be covered by OHIP, not all of it will be. Additionally, I’ll need to be off of work for 4-6 weeks (and still paying for rent, food, food for my cat, ect). I’ve managed to set aside a few thousand dollars in savings, but the out of pocket cost of the top surgery I’m getting is $3,500 (that’s before pain meds or cost of living expenses for the 4-6 weeks).

I’m starting a go fund me with the hope to make up the rest of the difference. I can’t thank my community enough for the love and advice and guidance they’ve already given me. I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for them.
