Theodore ‘Theo” Malloy was born on March 4th, 2022. He was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, a severe congenital heart defect. This particular defect requires three open-heart surgeries to improve the effectiveness of the heart. Theo underwent his first open-heart surgery shortly after birth, and it was a great success. Since then, he has continued to grow and show how strong he is in the months since. Because of this, doctors have decided to advance his second surgery and it is scheduled for July 5th, 2022.
