The Musical Project brings twenty-five NYU undergraduate writers, performers, directors, and designers together to create a new musical in a collaborative workshop environment. This work will be created over the course of two weeks and will culminate in an initial developmental workshop of this piece to be presented on the evenings of January 21st and 22nd.
The developmental workshop that will be presented towards the end of January will only be possible through the ensemble we're building and the process we'll be undergoing in the early weeks of the new year.
In order to make this process as fruitful as possible, however, we are going to need all the help we can get!
The funds we receive will go towards a budget for the project that will ultimately provide more creative freedom for our team. The money will go directly towards this workshop as well as towards future developments of the project.
This is hopefully the first step of many in creating a fully realized piece, so any amount you can contribute is greatly appreciated!
