The Miracle Worker

Donation protected
Over the last two summers, students from Jackson Prep have instituted an amazing tradition of a completely student-led production. This year I am fortunate enough to have been handed the torch of directing this show by Gregor Patti. I have chosen The Miracle Worker to be our show this summer. The Miracle Worker is the story of Helen Keller and her teacher, Annie Sullivan, but it relates more to the universal truths of perserverance, triumph in the face of adversity, and the importance of education and language. Our performances are scheduled for June 22 and 23, 2018. This year we have reached out to include local students who are deaf into our cast. I feel it is important that people realize that theater is a universal art that is not confined by a single language. With your donation we will build sets, rent the facility, hire American Sign Langauge interpreters for performances, finance technical design, and purchase makeup, costumes, and props. I truly believe that with your help there isn't anything we cannot do. Please support this goal and help us showcase the talent and passion that our students have for this show. We want to tell this story and with your help we will be able to show people how anything can be possible if you are dedicated and passionate. Please help us work miracles. Thank you.

Please share this on any social media you have to help us spread the word!!
