The Mighty Kai

My cousin (aka brother-we grew up inseperably together) and his beautiful girlfriend welcomed their first child in to this world together on 6/4/15.  He was born a lot earlier than anyone expected at 24 weeks due to an infection indicating the need for early delivery.  He was born weighing only 1lb 12 oz at birth.  He is progressing well, as he has transitioned from the osscilating ventilator to a traditional ventilator, off his phototherapy lights, and almost back to his birth weight. Obviously he still has a long road ahead of him, but he has so many people who love and care so much for him already, especially his wonderful parents.  They have a very long road ahead of them including the need for financial assistance.  It's expensive enough to have a baby, but add a lengthy NICU stay, transportation costs and currently down to 1 income adds even more to the need.  His mama is right where she needs to be-busy making milk and visiting him continuously while my cousin will have to go back to work to provide for his family.  Please help take some of financial stress off of them while they focus on The Mighty Kai!
