Hi, my name is Adam Bayatti, also known as TheMetsHomeRunner. At the beginning of the Baseball season, being a huge Mets fan, I set myself the challenge of running one mile for every home run hit by the team.

This whole thing started as a way to get myself fit during baseball season and the account was a way to hold myself accountable and to document my progress. I genuinely thought maybe 12 people would see it.

Since then, tons of Mets fans have followed along and quite a few people have asked whether there’s a way to help get me over to New York to watch a game in person.

That would be an absolute dream.

So I’ve set up this page for anyone who wants to get me there to help make my dream a reality.

No pressure at all - I’ll still be running every mile either way, but if this ridiculously wonderful challenge has entertained you and you’d like to help write the next chapter, please donate as little or as much as you would like.
