THE ULTIMATE DREAM
The Metal Jackets, Team 2068, of Osbourn Park High School is proud to announce that they will be going to St. Louis, Missouri for the FIRST World Championship.  This is a dream come true for the team members.  It is an opportunity for them to demonstrate their expertise, to compete with their robot, to make new friends, to be innovative, and to make memories that will last a lifetime!

OBJECTIVE
The Metal Jackets want to "sting" their way to success and leave a "distinctive legacy" at the FIRST World Championship.  

OUR GOAL
With this in mind, Team 2068 needs your help to get to St. Louis.  Every contribution will be greatly appreciated and monies will be used for travel expenses.  Kindly note that it will cost the team $5,000 to register for this amazing compeition opportunity alone.  You will be investing your money to assist future robotics leaders to compete on the "Worlds Stage" with national and international teams.

METAL JACKETS OVERVIEW
In 2007, the Metal Jackets Team of Osbourn Park High School  was formed as a STEM Initiative for students that wanted to achieve, design, and build robots.  The team is located in Prince William County, Virginia and plays a sigicant role in the community.  Team #2068 involves elementary and middle school students by giving them the opportunity to explore with hands-on robots and to accomplish challenges determined by FIRST.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to build a robot to meet the requirements of today's design while engineering tomorrow's future. We design with the community in mind to utilize the latest and greatest technology, to use innovative processes, and to demonstrate leadership while existing as a cohesive fluid team.

OUR VISION
To create an interdisciplinary entourage of young scholars focused on utilizing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) to nurture a unified team approach and to encourage individual contributions to embrace the competitive global future.

WE BELIEVE
Role models exist everywhere inclusive of parents, teachers, donors, scientists, engineers and the list goes on.
Ingenuity is sparked by contributions & examples set forth by everyone that influences the lives of young minds.
Dedication, success, failure, and repeated attempts for perfection are key to innovation.
The future is bright and full of infinite possibilities that will coexist with the "IMAGINEERS" of this world.
